Mini vMac 3.2.3

Custom Variations

Your computer runs :

Options :

current price : $5

Mini vMac has no preference settings, which helps to keep it small, simple, and reliable. Instead, options can be chosen at compile time. You can compile a variation of Mini vMac with options you desire following the instructions on the Build page.

Or, I can compile a variation for you, for a small fee, which helps to support development of Mini vMac. An added benefit of ordering a variation is that it is a vote for what options you think are important.

Directions

Select the kind of computer you wish the variation to run on.

Enter the set of options for the variation you desire, picked from the Options page. For example "-hres 800 -vres 600 -sound 0 -drives 16".

Press the Buy Now button. This takes you to a PayPal, where you enter payment information, including an email address.

Then PayPal will notify me of your order. I will compile ordered variations in batches, at least once per week. I will email you an address to download your variation.

. . .

Satisfaction Guaranteed : If you are not satisfied with your variation, let me know within a month and I'll issue a refund through PayPal.

Also, I reserve the right to issue a refund if your order can not be completed for any reason. Though I'd usually attempt to notify you first by email if there is a problem.

I will not use your email address for any other purpose than to discuss your order, and certainly not give it to anyone else.

Personalized : The about screen of your variation will include a "Sponsored by" line with the name on your PayPal account. If you would like it to list a different name, request an option such as:

-sponsor "Your name here"

Quality ensured by measures such as : All compiles performed in virtual machines not used for other purposes. A checksum is computed immediately after the compile. A second compile is done later and compared against the first. After uploading a file, I download it to verify. When I email you the address to the file, the email also contains the checksum you may use to verify the download. The checksum is signed, so that you can verify it is from me.

. . .

You are permitted and encouraged to redistribute your custom made variation, under the GPL license.

If you have problems, or suggestions for improvement, let me know.

I would be interested in hearing ideas for other options that you would like to have. Simple things like modified keyboard mappings. Other things, such as emulating other Mac 680x0 computers, would take much longer. In any case, more options would be for Mini vMac 3.3.x, not the 3.2.x series.
